Guitar Lessons

Every lesson on GuitarZone is built around a real song. Open one and you get the video, the correct tuning, and the amp settings alongside the Practice Toolbar so you can loop the hard bar, drop the speed, and play it back up to tempo without switching tabs. When you want to see how the whole thing sounds at pace, pair it with a cover or drill the parts with the tab.

How Guitar Lessons Work on GuitarZone

Every lesson here is built around a real song, not abstract exercises. You learn riffs, solos, and chord progressions in the context of tracks you actually want to play. Each lesson links to a Song Page where the video, tabs, tuning, and tone settings are all in one place.

Song sections are split into intro, verse, chorus, and solo so you can jump straight to the part you're working on. The practice toolbar lets you loop any section, slow the tempo with speed control, and use the built-in metronome to lock in your timing. When you're ready, switch to the backing track and play along with the full band.

What kind of lessons are on GuitarZone?

You'll find electric guitar lessons for rock, metal, classic rock, hard rock, and more. Each lesson is taught by a vetted YouTube creator who walks through the song section by section. Acoustic guitar lessons are also available for unplugged arrangements of popular songs.

Every creator on GuitarZone is hand-picked for lesson clarity and teaching quality. See how we choose them on our Trusted Creators page, and read what GuitarZone is about on About.

How do I practice with a lesson?

Open any lesson to land on its Song Page. The video plays at the top while the tab and practice tools sit below. You can slow the video down, loop the chorus until it clicks, check the correct tuning, and see what amp and pedal settings match the original tone. No extra apps needed.
